Medical Equipment and Consumer Goods Plant (KhSC) is a division of Khrunichev Space Center.
Federal state enterprise Khrunichev Space Science and Manufacturing Center is a leader of Russian aerospace industry and is one of the world key manufacturers in aerospace technology sector.
Khrunichev Space Center is a world-renowned company primarily as a manufacturer of Space Launch Vehicle (SLV) “Proton”, which is presently recognized as an exceptionally reliable heavy class space launcher capable to deliver cargo into the distant orbit.
Medical Equipment and Consumer Goods Plant was founded in early 90s based as a manufacturer division of Khrunichev State Space Research, Science and Manufacturing Center with the purpose of application of space technologies to manufacturing of medical equipment: monoplace oxygen chambers for hyperbaric/hypobaric oxygen treatment and patient monitoring systems.
Existence of an advanced technological base and highly qualified personnel allowed to develop and to organize in shortest possible time serial manufacturing of such a medical equipment hyperbaric and hypobaric oxygen chambers: chamber BLKS–303 MK, chamber BLKS–307–Khrunichev.
Operation of these systems N. N. Burdenko Head Military Hospital, A. A. Vishnevsky Central Military Hospital, Head Hospitals of Ministry of Internal Affairs and Federal Security Service, N. F. Sclifosofky Research Institute of Emergency Care, Russian Academy of Science Scientific Surgery Center, in medical organizations of President Administration Center, Moniki Medical Center and other leading medical centers confirmed highest degree of reliability of the Khrunichev products. That was determined by applied technologies, quality control system which are based on an aerospace technology.
Conducted certification of medical equipment and certification of the manufacturing process in authorized international centers allowed to register it in national health care regulatory institutions of such countries as USA, Brazil, Australia, Greece, Turkey, South Korea, Argentina, Panama and others. That gave us an opportunity to sale our equipment to these countries.
